We have these little bushes here and there around the county that are usually the last to color, and they're doing it with a vengeance right now. FLAMING red. I want to tear out my over-aged evergreens and put some in, but I can't figure out what they're called.
And when the leaves are gone and things look stark, I enjoy looking at the intricacies of the branches. And yes, I'll admit, sometimes I imagine them with snow--at least until I don't have to imagine anymore!
