Okay…I’m just an old Kansas hippie…I’ve seen a lot of concerts in my time. Concert names usually mean something. By the title…one gets a foretaste of some aspect of the concert. For instance…Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out” tour, occurred during the summertime and was a celebration of personal freedom, Cher’s many “Farewell Tours” afforded her the opportunity to say goodbye to her fans…repeatedly, even Dr Hook’s Medicine Show gave some hint of what was to come…and to no one’s surprise…many medicinal herbs as well as pharmaceuticals out the wazoo were available to the crowd. However, I just saw a tour bus…with a title on the side that I don’t understand. It said “Toby Keith’s Throw Down Tour”. It is my understanding that ‘throw down’ means to ‘fight’. So…I don’t know who Toby Keith is…but are we to assume that concert goers will be ushered in…a few at a time…to a large roped off area…where Mr. Keith will beat the tar out of them??? I think I will skip this one…
Be Well!

Let's put it this way, Mom. . . Tara is Toby Keith's biggest fan. I got to know his music very well a couple of years ago ;-). His latest cd is entitled "White Trash With Money" -- 'nuff said.
"I Wanna Talk About Me."
That's all he can say about that subject...
And don't forget:
"I was always the crazy one
I broke into the stadium
And I wrote your number on the 50 yard line
You were always the perfect one
And the valadictorian so
Under your number I wrote 'call for a good time'
I only wanted to catch your attention
But you overlooked me somehow
Besides you had too many boyfriends to mention
And I played my guitar too loud."
At my school, they'd call that sexual harassment. In TK's world, they call it basis for a hit.
Can you tell I can't stand his stuff, but it's all I hear some days?????
You've got my sympathy, Carolyn. My deepest sympathy. For real...I'd poke out my ear drums if that was all I heard...
I was SOOOOOOO disappointed in a friend. Turns out that is one of her favorite songs! =(
Wow!! Sounds like everyone knows him but me! And it sounds like I am the lucky one! :)
