We honestly aren’t hillbillies, but you will probably wonder after reading the following.
We had to replace our dishwasher the day after Christmas this year, and the old one had found a home on the deck (just until we could haul it away :)). Park City clean up day is this coming Saturday, and we will be able to take a truck load of stuff to a dump point, free of charge…so we have been planning to load it up!
I had coerced Marvin into going on my walk with me last night, and for some distance, we had discussed whether or not the two of us could get the dishwasher down the deck stairs and around the house without help (I am a huge wienie and have no upper body strength what-so-ever). As we came in the front door, from our walk, I said, “Hey, let’s go see if we can move the dishwasher right now. If we can get it to the side of the house…cool beans! If not…we will know, before Saturday morning, that we need some help with it!”
Marvin consented…although he did not look excited. So…out we went. After much shifting, groaning, starting over, and laughter…we succeeded. We finally set it down beside the house to take a breath.
“So, where shall we put it…beside the refrigerator…or the hot water heater?” I asked…giggling.
“Yeah…there,” said Marvin wryly.
From across the fence came “All you need now’s a stove…”
I cracked up all the way into the house!
In our defense…none of our appliance cache is visible from the street. It is all tucked neatly away, behind and beside the house and fence. We will get rid of this stuff Saturday though…if we have to pay someone to take it!
Be Well!

Well, we are from ARKANSAS City, but that doesn't mean we have to act like it! That's alright -- the current contents of my garage are a dinner table and chairs, an entertainment center and a 28 year old dresser. . . I've got no room to throw stones! Of course, the table and chairs are actually yours . . . :-)
Well...you didn't mention that you had the old stove in the shed until not that long ago...
