The Lake House...

What a nice day this turned out to be! Slept in (8:15), then showered, cleaned house a bit, unpacked from our 'untrip', then read for a while! Marvin spent the morning trying to load music on his mp3 player...which turned out to be trickier than it sounds.

Around 1:30, he gave up and we went to The Good Egg for breakfast/lunch, then on to Ultimate Electronics, Pier 1, and finally to the 13th St Warren to see The Lake House! What a good movie! I don't care what the revues say...GO SEE IT!! Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock are perfectly matched and capture the hearts of viewers...from the get go! I left the theater, dabbing tears (of joy) from my eyes! One revue said that the movie wasn't good because it was based on an impossibility...SO FREAKING WHAT? Take a good hard look at reality sometime....it ain't what it's cracked up to be honey!! I'll take a good, old fashioned, fantasy anytime...something that makes me smile at the end of the day!!!

After the movie, we stopped in at Petland to see Bubbles (so dubbed by yours truly) a perfect, spunky, fiesty, tiny, white Maltese puppy. Then on to Heavenly Snow to top off the afternoon!

After a quick shower...we will settle in to watch either "Rumor Has It"...or "Family Stone"! We watched "Ringer" last night...it was hilarious!!

The forecast had called for storms this afternoon...they didn't materialize! Perhaps, that is a sign that a cloud free week (metaphorically speaking) is ahead of us! I know we can use it!
