Sunshine and warm breezes! After putting in the first half of my workday (10:00 - 2:00), I came home, ate a bit of lunch, tried out my birthday present ,the cool glider with the table in the middle (thank you guys), talked to my dad a bit, then went for a walk! The pond was magnificent...sunshine bouncing off of a million tiny ripples. I walked an extra half mile or so, because it was so nice outdoors! During the last block of my trek...I was joined by a tumbleweed...which, oddly enough, kept pace with me the rest of the way! If you aren't from Kansas...tumbleweeds used to be everywhere...blowing across the prairies like solitary wanderers! These days they are rare...but I think they are cool! I took this picture of it as I hit the garage door button to go inside.
Council meeting tonight...and it looks like it could be a long one! The agenda is 4 pages...and packed with potential controversy. I wish it were another night...I'd love to spend the evening on the deck, just enjoying this taste of Spring!

Brian saw tumbleweeds a couple years ago when he went to Texas. He didn't seem to think it was a big deal, but I was SOOOOOO jealous!
Reserve one for me for when I get out there, would ya?
